This song is a place for grief. Grief, pain, and guilt have built up over the years of my life and have begun to bubble over with the amount of death we've seen collectively. I commune with my dead, those I miss, with sweet melodies, and harmonies that take over the mind coupled with the sounds of waves grounding the listener in another plane. The production brings about a smooth, jazzy melody with smooth brass and a reflective piano. This song is just an honest answer to the question. "How you doing?" A question many are scared to truthfully answer. And those few moments where we did answer truthfully, we may no longer be able to have because death took away that sweet gift. But that safety and comfort, that genuine spirit never truly goes away.
